Here at Roast Master Coffee Company, every care is taken to ensure that you, the customer experience the distinguishable superior flavour and aroma of freshly roasted coffee.
By using a smaller roaster, we are able to control the roast extremely well, thus giving you a consistently perfect roast – One which is not under or over-roasted.
Sample roasts of each new bean crop/varietal are roasted and cupped multiple times to ensure that we bring out the best qualities of each bean, yielding in our opinion, very enjoyable, well-balanced coffees.
We take pride in the selection of the best Single Origin Arabica coffee beans, as well as the use of best practice machinery and methods to roast and grind the coffee.
The infrared gas burners were initially chosen because of their clean-burning characteristics – infrared gas burners produce only 75% of the carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide typically produced by an atmospheric burner.
Radiant heat is the obvious choice, as all other roasters on the market use the combustion gases from the burners as their roasting medium. In the Diedrich roaster, the primary roasting medium is the clean air drawn across the heat exchangers and through the roasting drum.
