How to Request a Quote

If you’d like a quote on any equipment, you can simply click on the “Request a Quote on this item” button found on each product page – you are also able to add multiple items to your quote & view the entire quote before submitting it - and a quote will be sent to you.

Which Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Our preferred method of payment is via EFT directly into our bank account which is made after acceptance of an official quote, of course, you still have the option of paying via the official checkout process; we use PAYFAST as our payment gateway service provider which provides both the consumer and ourselves with the necessary encrypted security required for secure online financial trading. The PAYFAST website (www.payfast.co.za) will answer all your security questions / concerns. At checkout you have the option of paying via VISA Credit Card, MasterCard, Instant EFT, Cheque & Debit Cards.

We do not accept cash as a payment method.

Are online payments safe?

YES, our online payment gateway, PAYFAST, ensures the maximum encrypted security to provide the peace of mind that all transactions are secure for both the consumer & ourselves. Our website is also a secure site, you will see this by the closed lock next to the URL in the address bar of your browser.

How Do I Place An Order or Request a Quote?

Orders can be placed in one of two ways:

1) Via the website, you'd add your items to cart and proceed to checkout where you will complete the financial transaction & finalise the order. You will receive an order confirmation from us, tracking details are also shared as soon as the order is dispatched.

2) *You are able to request a quote via the "Request a Quote on this Item' GREEN Button available on all product pages - you also have the abilty to add multipe items to your quote before submitting your request - we will email you a quote for your consideration & payment via EFT.

Do I Need An Account To Place An Order?

No, it is not a requirement that you must create an account for yourself as you are also able to shop and checkout as a guest at any stage. Although the benefits of having an account is that our site stores password-protected information about a customer's identity, order history, and current order status, all of which is available to you. Your details, such as address information, will be pre-filled from the stored information during future checkouts. Should you forget your password, we are able to easily assist you in setting a new password.

Do you offer FREE Shipping?

Yes, all order above R2000.00 are shipped FREE of charge

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

We ship all orders via an economy road service within the borders of South Africa. We will also ship via any other service at your request, although additional costs will be for your account payable via EFT prior to shipping.

How Long Does It Take For My Order To Be Delivered?

We are very much all about service and under promising & over delivering, we typically ship within 24 hours of the order having been place, we officially state 4-7 working days shipping to major centres in SA (Although, it is most often much quicker than than) within the borders of South Africa. Outlying/Rural areas, as defined by our courier, will take a day or two longer. A guide as to which areas are considered Rural/Outlying, can be found HERE. All orders are processed without delay as soon as payments have cleared.

Do You Hold Stock Of All Items On The Website?

Our goal is to showcase a range of International branded, quality product to our visitors providing them with the opportunity to view & have access to items that one would not usually find in a traditional brick & mortar store or often otherwise see. We are therefore able to showcase certain product which is only available via special order - those items are so identified on our website. We therefore don't hold stock of all items on our website. We typically ship directly from supplier to consumer.

No Stock/Out Of Stock - Can I Still Place An Order?

YES! We want to provide our customer with the opportunity of being able to place an order for items that may currently not be available for immediate delivery, which we will order especially for them at reasonable lead times. With the financial investment you are about to make, our extensive experience in retail has shown that the consumer would rather wait a short while to make sure that they receive exactly the item they want instead of settling for the next best thing, as we commit to staying in touch every step of the way until the order is delivered to their door step.

May I Arrange Collection Of My Order?

As we trade online only & don't have a traditional brick and mortar store, we don't generally encourage an own collection option as we typically, ship directly from our supplier to the consumer, although in certain instances an order may be collected from us by prior arrangement. Where are we situated / Do you have a showroom?

Our offices are in Randburg, JHB, trading online only, shipping successfully, directly from National Suppliers to our customers across SA and abroad.We dont have a showroom which can be visited although we are able to arrange viewings of certain brands in JHB & CPT.

The Brands we showcase

We are an accredited and approved retailer of each of the brands we showcase on our website. We do not showcase any brand that we have not hand picked and been accredited/approved to retail on our website.

We are therefore able to guarantee that all brands on our website are backed by the Licensed Brand Principles / Accredited National Distributors in terms of warranty's/guarantee's & service back up in South Africa.

We are not wholesalers of any of the brands on our website.

Warranties, Spares & Services

Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy forms part of the Blackbeancoffee.africa Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and must be read together with them. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

1. General Warranty Position

  • All equipment supplied is sold new. We do not sell used or reconditioned equipment.
  • As authorised and accredited resellers of the brands we retail, all products are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s and/or distributor’s warranties.
  • Unless otherwise stated, machines and equipment are supplied with a standard 12-month carry-in warranty, valid from the date of delivery.
  • A 12-month manufacturer’s carry-in warranty means:
    • The manufacturer provides warranty cover for 12 months from the date of purchase or delivery
    • The customer is responsible for taking (carrying in) or couriering the product to an authorised manufacturer or distributor service centre
    • The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not misuse, wear-and-tear, or accidental damage
    • If a valid defect is found, the manufacturer will repair or replace the part/product (at their discretion)

2. Warranty Administration & Service Agents

  • All warranties, spare parts, repairs, and technical services are honoured exclusively by supplier-appointed and authorised service agents.
  • Blackbeancoffee.africa does not perform warranty repairs and is not a technical service provider for the equipment sold. We will facilitate where possible.
  • All technical or warranty-related matters are referred directly to the relevant brand supplier’s technical support team for specialist assessment and assistance.

3. Service Agent Coverage & Location

  • Supplier-appointed service agents are typically located in major centres such as Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban, as well as selected regional centres.
  • Coverage in outlying or remote areas may be limited.
  • Where on-site support is not available due to distance, and telephonic support is insufficient, customers located more than 40 km from the nearest authorised service centre may be required to deliver or courier the equipment to the nearest appointed service agent for assessment.

4. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) – Defective Goods

  • Where goods fail to comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or show a manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace, or take back the goods, subject to confirmation of the defect by the supplier. The supplier assessment will be final.
  • The defect must be reported within 24 hours of becoming apparent.
  • The defect must result from faulty design or manufacture.
  • Goods may be required to be returned to the supplier or an authorised service agent for inspection and confirmation.

If the supplier confirms a defect:

  • The cost of return carriage will be refunded; and
  • The goods will be repaired or replaced at no charge.

If goods are repaired or replaced, no additional claim may be made against us under statute, common law, or otherwise in respect of the defect.

5. Installation, Use & Maintenance Requirements

  • Customers must strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s recommended installation, operation, and maintenance procedures.
  • Compliance with these requirements is essential to ensure optimal performance, reliability, longevity, and continued warranty validity.
  • Only authorised service agents may work on equipment during the warranty period.

6. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage may be rendered null and void if:

  • Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or interventions are performed;
  • The equipment is installed or used contrary to manufacturer specifications;
  • Maintenance guidelines are not followed;
  • Damage results from misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, power issues, water quality issues, or external factors outside of manufacturer control.

7. Out-of-Box Failure

  • As we ship directly from suppliers and do not hold stock, out-of-box failures are handled via supplier assessment.
  • In such cases, equipment may be collected and returned to the supplier or you may be directed to the nearest authorised service agent.
  • If a fault is confirmed, the supplier will dispatch a replacement unit directly to the customer.
  • This process may take up to 10 working days & is subject to stock availability.
  • We do not provide loan or temporary replacement units.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment is installed and operated in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
  • Report faults promptly and accurately.
  • Provide access to equipment or arrange delivery to authorised service agents where required.

9. Relationship to Other Policies

This Warranty Policy must be read together with the Returns & Refunds PolicyShipping Policy, and Price & Payment Policy, all of which are derived from and aligned to the Terms & Conditions.

Trade-In's & Second Hand Machines

We only trade in new equipment.

✅We don't accept trade-in's.

✅We don't deal in any second hand / used equipment.

✅Machines are typically tested before dispatch, most especially traditional espresso machines and professional/commercial units; this would be the reason you may, from time to time, find water droplets in the water reservoir or drip trays.
