Price & Payment

This Price & Payment page forms part of the Blackbeancoffee.africa Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and must be read together with them. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

1. Pricing

  • All prices displayed are subject to stock availability and exchange rate fluctuations.
  • Prices may change without notice, however prices will not be changed after an order has been placed and paid for.
  • If an item has been incorrectly priced, we will notify you prior to dispatch and you may choose whether to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order.
  • Prices displayed on the website are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated.
  • If your delivery address is outside South Africa, VAT will be deducted at checkout, where applicable.

2. Order Pricing and Confirmation

  • The price payable for goods is the price displayed at the time the order is placed.
  • If goods are available in parts or sourced from multiple suppliers, the full order value must be paid before any part of the order will be dispatched.
  • The price of goods excludes delivery charges, which are calculated and displayed at checkout prior to payment.

3. Payment Methods

We aim to provide a simple, secure, and efficient payment experience. The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Instant EFT
  • Visa
  • Mastercard

All card payments are processed via PayFast, a secure third-party payment gateway utilising 3D Secure technology to provide an additional layer of fraud protection.

4. EFT Payments

  • EFT payments are accepted; however, no stock will be secured and no order will be dispatched until funds have fully cleared in our bank account.
  • A proof of payment does not constitute confirmation of cleared funds.

5. Currency and Bank Charges

  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
  • Bank charges levied by the receiving bank are borne by us.
  • Any charges relating to payments made in a foreign currency are borne by the customer.
  • Exchange rate information provided is indicative only and may vary.

6. Discounts and Promotions

  • Discount codes or promotional offers may not be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotion, or free gift unless explicitly stated.
  • Promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended without prior notice.

7. Refunds and Reversals

  • If we owe you money for any reason, refunds will be processed via EFT or a PayFast reversal to the original payment method.
  • Refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event no later than 7 working days from the date the refund is confirmed.
  • We do not process cash refunds.

8. Security of Payments

  • Payment details are not processed or stored on pages controlled by us.
  • All payment information is encrypted and processed in a secure environment by our payment service providers.
  • If you elect to save payment details for future transactions, such information is stored securely in encrypted form and used only for transactions you authorise.
