Flojet Water Pump

A bottled-water pump can provide a pressurised water supply where a suitable direct mains connection is unavailable. The Flojet BW5000 Series is commonly used for compatible beverage equipment, but suitability must be confirmed for the exact coffee machine and installation.

When a pump may be useful

  • Temporary or mobile coffee setups
  • Sites where a direct water connection is not practical
  • Compatible coffee machines, ice makers or beverage systems requiring a pressurised feed

What to verify before selection

  • The coffee machine’s required incoming pressure and flow
  • Connection sizes and compatible fittings
  • Electrical supply for the pump
  • Water-container placement and hygiene
  • Filtration requirements
  • Access for inspection and replacement

A pump supplies water; it does not replace appropriate water treatment. Test or assess the source water and follow the equipment manufacturer’s requirements. See the water filtration buying guide.

Installation considerations

Keep the water container stable, clean and protected from contamination. Route tubing so it cannot kink, leak or create a trip hazard. Confirm that the system can be isolated and serviced. Installation requirements vary, so use an appropriately qualified installer where plumbing or electrical work is involved.
