Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy forms part of the Blackbeancoffee.africa Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and must be read together with them. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

1. Delivery Area

  • We deliver within the borders of South Africa only.
  • International or cross-border orders may be considered on request and are subject to quotation, additional terms, and port-of-entry delivery only.

2. Dispatch Method

  • All goods are shipped directly from the manufacturer or supplier to the customer.
  • We do not generally hold stock and therefore are rarely able to accommodate collections.
  • Delivery is facilitated via outsourced third-party courier partners.

3. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated and displayed at checkout and must be paid in full before an order can be dispatched.

Guide to standard shipping rates:

  • Orders with a value of R4,999 or less: R129.00
  • FREE delivery on orders of R5,000 or more within South Africa
    • *Applicable to selected machines only

Where shipping rates differ from the guide above, the final applicable rate will be confirmed at checkout prior to payment.

4. Outlying and Rural Area Surcharges

  • Courier-defined outlying or rural areas may attract a surcharge.
  • This surcharge can only be determined once the delivery address has been assessed by the courier.
  • If applicable, the surcharge will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
  • The surcharge must be paid via EFT before dispatch. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the order and reversal of payment.

We do not apply a mark-up to courier costs and aim only to recover the actual shipping cost.

5. Delivery Timeframes

  • Orders are typically delivered within 4–7 business days to major centres, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
  • Regional centres and outlying areas may take longer.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Some large or heavy items may require extended delivery times, which will be communicated where possible.

6. Delivery Conditions

  • Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 09h00 and 17h00, excluding public holidays.
  • Goods cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes, PostNet addresses, or farms.
  • You must ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the goods.
  • All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or older.

7. Risk, Inspection and Acceptance

  • Goods are delivered at our risk until signed for by you or a responsible person at the delivery address.
  • You must inspect the goods immediately upon delivery.
  • If goods are damaged in transit or short-delivered, delivery must be refused and we must be contacted immediately.
  • Photographic evidence of visible damage to parcels is required to support courier claims.
  • If damage or shortages are not reported immediately or within 24 hours of delivery, we will not be liable or able to assist.
  • Signing for delivery (including via signature or PIN) confirms that the order was received correctly and in good order.
  • Signing “unchecked”, “not checked”, or similar is not acceptable.

8. Split and Partial Deliveries

  • Where goods are sourced from multiple suppliers or are not all available at the same time, delivery may occur in instalments.

9. Delays and Non-Delivery

  • If we are unable to deliver within 7 working days of the order date, we will notify you to arrange an alternative delivery date.
  • Delivery dates and times provided are estimates only and are not contractually binding.
  • We are not liable for losses or inconvenience caused by delayed or failed delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. International Shipping

  • International shipping is subject to prior arrangement and quotation.
  • Estimated international shipping fees displayed at checkout are indicative only and not final.
  • International shipments are delivered to port of entry only.
  • All international orders are subject to shipping charges and do not qualify for free shipping.
